Size
Noble contains approximately 18 square miles within its incorporated boundaries. Slaughterville, bordering Noble to the south and east, adds another 25 square miles to our school and marketing districts. The total area within the Noble Public School district encompasses approximately 127 square miles, including a portion of south Norman.

Terrain
Noble is surrounded by rolling hills glowing with the deep, rich red of our native soil. Wooded areas and small creeks dot the Noble countryside, bordered on the south by the South Canadian River.
Climate
Noble experiences temperate weather with relatively mild winters. Rainfall is distributed fairly evenly throughout the year, with a few heavier downpours in spring and winter. Our average growing season is about 220 days. Extreme weather is limited to brief periods in summer and winter.

Location

Noble is located in central Cleveland County, four miles south of Norman, the county seat. It is part of the Oklahoma City Metroplex and is located only 30 miles south of the state capitol, 130 miles southwest of Tulsa, and 192 miles north of Dallas.
Transportation
Noble is traversed by four-lane Highway 77 and four-lane State Highway 9, providing easy access to Interstate 35. As part of an area which serves as a hub of the transcontinental highway system, there is major access for the trucking industry. Noble is located only 26 miles from Will Rogers World Airport and six short miles from Max Westheimer Airpark in Norman. The Amtrak Heartland Flyer passenger train runs daily from Oklahoma City to Dallas/Fort Worth. The train boards north of us in Norman and south of Noble in Purcell. Bus and nationwide rail transportation are within easy access and adequate port facilities are only 150 miles away.
