Timberlake Rose Rock Museum

The Timberlake Rose Rock Museum showcases Oklahoma’s official state rock, the Rose Rock. This natural phenomenon is a reddish-brown sand barite stone that is naturally formed into a rose. Opened in 1986, the Rose Rock Museum hosts over 5,000 visitors a year from all over the world. The museum is owned by geologist and artist Joe Stine and his wife, Nancy. Over the years, Joe and Nancy have met, and presented Noble rose rocks to people such as former First Lady Nancy Reagan and Queen Elizabeth II. The museum offers printed materials about the rose rock in several languages: English, German, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. You’ll find a wide array of rose rock sculptures and other rose rock items in the gift shop.

Wine Country

Noble is home to six of the nearly 120 vineyards in Oklahoma. Oklahoma’s winemaking history dates as far back as 1893 when Edward Fairchild established the Fairchild Winery. The Fairchild Winery produced nearly 6,000 gallons of wine every year for saloons and cafés throughout the state. Statehood and prohibition in 1907 ended the winemaking industry in Oklahoma, but favorable legislation in 2000 brought our winemaking back to the state with a flourish.

Thunder Valley Raceway Park

Thunder Valley Raceway Park is Oklahoma’s Premier 1/4 Mile Drag Racing Facility. The Track hosts a variety of racing from 260 mph dragsters and funny cars (at the Federal-Mogul Drag Race), to grocery getters at the weekly Test and Tune events.
